I'd just like to reiterate that my purpose here is to do whatever you  may need done in regards to home computing. If there's something you'd like done that you don't see here, please don't hesitate to ask if it's possible - it most likely is.

The following is a brief rundown of the most popular and useful services FNC can offer you.

Wireless Network Installation

Tired of wires running all over your living room to your desktop? Dream of using your laptop to surf the web or do do office work from your bed, the patio or the kitchen? Wireless access networks (WANs) make it easy.

We'll help you pick out the best hardware for your setup - both to broadcast the signal throughout your house, and to pick it up on your computers - and then run the whole thing together, do all the installations and configurations, lock it down so that only you have access to the network, and then make sure it's all running smoothly and quickly.

Advanced Security & Optimization

If you're worried about your computer - and perhaps even your personal information - being compromised, there are steps you can take. We'll install the latest version of Norton Internet Security suite (software included in the price), make sure your anti-virus is up to date, all your operating system files are updated and in place, and configure your firewall to let the programs you use send and receive info, but make sure that hackers can't get in.

Advanced Diagnostic & Repair

Your computer is a complicated piece of machinery, and with all those electrons flying around, occasionally you've got to take a look around and make sure everything's still working as best it can. If you've got a crippling virus or even if things are just running a little more slowly than you think they should, we'll handle it.

If there's a virus manhandling your computer, we'll remove it. If there's spyware sending out your personal information, we'll kill it. We'll update your essential programs to make sure they're running as well as they can, handle any problems you may have with your Operating System and even delete old or unwanted programs that may have been installed without your realization or consent.

Advanced Security, Optimization, Diagnostic & Repair

For the total package, we combine both of the above two services into one for a discounted combo price. We'll take a look at your machine, tell you what's wrong and do everything within our power to make it right, then make sure that whatever went wrong won't happen again, with quality immunization software.

Full Software rebuild

If your computer has been completely claimed by demons, or if you've just been using it for a couple years, your best bet may be a complete rebuild. We will back up any important files (documents, pictures, saved games) and then completely wipe your hard drive. Once everything is clean and completely fresh, we'll reinstall Windows and any of your other programs of your choice, and then move your personal files back into place, all for one low, comprehensive price. I do this to my own machine at least once a year, but I am a wee bit obsessive.

Complete hard drive erasure

A fundamental mistake many computer users make is donating, selling, trashing or giving away an old computer before wiping any confidential or personal data on their hard drives. We'll wipe a hard drive so there's not even a trace you've ever used it, making the drive and the computer housing it safe to do away with.

Data backup or transfer

If you run a home business, are an artist or otherwise have files on your computer that are absolutely invaluable or irreplacable, you owe it to yourself to have them backed up in case something catastrophic happens to your computer. There are a wide range of concepts we can implement, from simple redundancy to external, standalone backup drives to hard copy transfer to a high capacity DVD-ROM, even if you don't have a DVD burner on your current computer, all at a price that shames the competition.

Or maybe you're getting a new computer, and want all your files and data moved over from your current machine to your new workhorse? We can handle that too, and the same rates apply.

Computer diagnostic

Think of it as a consultation for your computer. Tell us what you want your machine to do, and we'll look it over and tell you the best course of action. Whether it could be best handled with some house cleaning and operation, new software, a hardware upgrade or an entirely new computer, we'll set you on the right path towards zen computing. Best of all, the diagnostic fee is waived completely if you put our suggestions to use and purchase just one service of $50 or more!

Computer Cleaning

Nope, cleaning isn't a metaphor or a computer term, at least this time around. Dust and dirt are everywhere, and even if you keep your home in immaculate condition, we guarantee your computer is still loaded with dust and grime, which can lead to a host of problems including shorting, overheating, improper venting and all other sorts of nasty conditions. We open up your computer and clean it out without breaking anything, or electocuting ourselves.

Computer Optimization

Just like the Security & Optimization, further above, but without the security aspect. We'll comb your computer for software problems that could be slowing you down, such as worthless programs, fragmented hard drives and software that hasn't been updated. We handle all of it so that you don't have to.

Software Installation

If you've got a new program and you're not quite sure how to get it up and running on your machine, we'll install it, update it, and make sure everything's configured correctly for a nominal fee.

Hardware upgrade / install

Most people, if they were to physically look inside their computer, would be rightfully confused. There's a whole lot of stuff in there, and its uses are not readily apparent. That's what the nerd is here for. Whether you've purchased a piece of computer equipment on your own or if we've ordered one for you, we'll open up your computer, set it in there really nice, and ensure that it's all working correctly before sealing that puppy back up.

Operating system install

Whether you've just purchased a new computer or are upgrading your operating system, nothing works on your computer if the OS doesn't. We'll install your OS (most usually Windows of some flavor, unless you're a Linux man), make sure all your drivers are installed and working correctly and that everything is running smoothly.

PC Setup & Customization

If you've purchased a new computer from another source, or received one as a gift, we'll come over and hook it all together, get it started, make sure everything works together and even begin to customize it for you, so you feel comfortable using your new machine.

Customized PC Building

Finally, the Coup de grace and my personal favorite: We will consult with you, talk about price ranges and what you want your computer to do for you and create a custom package put together lovingly by me and returned to you in less than one week. Not matter what sort of PC you want, I can make it specific to your choices and needs.
